General information about the partner organization
Shaurimoyo Special Unit primary school is situated in Moshi Municipality about four kilometers from Kibo Home base. It is in the same compund as Shaurimoyo Primary School under the same head Teacher. It has over 15 kids with learning disabilities.
Some children in this unit also have varying degrees of disabilities. One female and one male teacher teach these kids.The ages of the students range between ages 6 – 15. Families of these kids are poor. Some can’t afford three balanced meals per day.

Objectives
• Help the kids manage their lives at very basic levels.
• Loving and assisting the disabled kids.

Volunteers Activities
• Teaching activities of daily life to children with disabilities with limited resources.
• Home visits of the kids.
• Empower the community on the rights of the people with mental disabilities and their families
• Assessment of development of understanding memory.
• Engaging in Sports.
